    We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Data Scientist to join our team. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions, focusing on developing and implementing effective reporting and analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will leverage their strong advanced analytical skills to build insightful reports, conduct market intelligence, and apply predictive modeling to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, thereby aiding strategic decision-making.

    Responsibilities

    + Work with the data and metrics analyst to pull data from various sources, analyze and interpret data, and help leadership make informed decisions to drive business forward.

    + Transform manual, repetitive Excel reports into dashboards and metrics.

    + Engage in various special projects across the enterprise, understanding the vision and translating it into presentations that effectively tell the story.

    + Identify areas of opportunity and transform data and artifact visualization.

    + Lead and design initiatives that are not fully defined, demonstrating measurable success.

    + Be flexible and agile, ready to lead opportunities as they arise from leadership requests or organizational needs.

    + Communicate effectively with executive leadership and prepare relevant material strategically designed for targeted audiences.

    + Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

    + Utilize advanced analytics tools to interpret data, trends, and key performance indicators.

    + Collaborate with IT and supply chain teams to implement analytics platforms and automation tools.

    + Lead initiatives to streamline purchasing service processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

    + 5+ years of experience as a data scientist/analyst.

    + Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database concepts.

    + Experience with ERP tools such as SAP.

    + Proficiency in AI, machine learning, and automation tools.

    + Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Think Cell, or Qlik Sense.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Master's degree is a nice-to-have qualification.

    Work Environment

    This is a hybrid role with four days onsite from Monday to Thursday and work from home on Fridays. The current onsite days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The dress code is business casual, with khakis or dress pants and a button-down shirt or blouse being acceptable. Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
