Engage proactively with applicants and hiring teams throughout the recruiting lifecycle to identify the best talent for the organization. Drive talent acquisition strategies that align with business needs.
Responsibilities
+ Partner with hiring managers to create effective recruiting strategies, managing expectations and building partnerships.
+ Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on market data and position requirements, serving as a trusted talent partner.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Human Resources Information Systems, Talent Management, Compensation, and Total Rewards.
+ Post job openings on the applicant tracking system and other media resources including online employment job boards and social media.
+ Screen and source both active and passive candidates through in-person, phone, and virtual interviews, including behavioral-based interviews across various levels.
+ Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up and communication throughout the candidate's lifecycle.
+ Coordinate interviews between hiring managers and candidates, including travel arrangements for out-of-state candidates.
+ Work with the compensation team to develop and negotiate salary job offers.
+ Participate in the training and mentoring of new talent acquisition team members and support the development of sourcing and recruitment tactics.
+ Administer background checks and new hire paperwork processes, including employment verification, education verification, reference checks, and pre-employment drug tests.
+ Represent the organization as an employer of choice at career fairs, university events, and networking functions.
+ Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Talent acquisition and recruitment expertise.
+ Technical recruiting and corporate recruiting experience.
+ Strategic sourcing and stakeholder management.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Experience with applicant tracking systems such as PeopleSoft.
+ Knowledge of Human Resources disciplines and applicable employment laws.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Strong workload management skills including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
+ Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to maintain professional composure under stress and pressure.
+ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of data.
+ Team collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience recruiting in a medium to large organization, including manager level and above searches.
+ Experience in both external recruiting agency and corporate human resources department is preferred.
Work Environment
Work in-office Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm, with remote work on Fridays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $40.86/hr.
