    Responsibilities

    The incumbent is responsible for the performance of complex cardiac diagnostic procedures, and all procedures required by the EKG Technician. Demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

    Knowledge of:

    + EKG procedures and equipment

    + Basic cardiac and human body anatomy and physiology

    + Basic interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias -cardiopulmonary resuscitation

    Qualifications

    Required:

    ARDMS certification

    Experience in echocardiographic and Doppler technology

    2 years College education with courses in physiology and anatomy
