We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Automation expert to join the **Enterprise** **Test Automation Center of Excellence (TACoE)** team as the Product Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our pharmaceutical software products across the enterprise. You will lead automation testing efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams globally. You should have hands on technical experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Mabl, Cypress, Playwright, etc. and a high technical learning agility. This role often includes tasks requiring strong programming, proficiency with software testing standards and best practices, infrastructure activities, and continually researching and applying the newest technologies to test engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Test Automation Product Manager is a global role responsible for the Test Automation product strategy. In this role you will be responsible for the **strategy, roadmap, and execution** of Test Automation set of tools and direction of the **Enterprise** **Test Automation Centre of Excellence (TACoE)** along with partnership with the Test Automation architect **.** You will support the process and products used as part of the automated testing framework, and research the external landscape and find technological gaps to fill at Lilly. You will also engage with the customers and champion an automation first mindset across the enterprise to increase automated testing usage and help create metrics that demonstrate the business value of test automation. This will be a cross functional role, partnering with Information Security, Quality, and other functional Tech@Lilly areas to drive change.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
+ Define & execute Product Strategy and Roadmap for Test Automation suite of tools and align with organizational goals
+ Communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders, ensuring alignment
+ Align people, tools, and processes to enable rapid and reusable automation solutions across the enterprise
Technology & Innovation:
+ Develop deep technical expertise in test automation platforms and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement
+ Continuously evaluate and validate emerging automation tools and technologies to ensure Lilly remains at the forefront of innovation, and adjust product strategy
Managing Features Backlog:
+ Own and prioritize the ART Backlog, ensuring it is refined for effective delivery
+ Guide product team in prioritizing features and managing the product backlog
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
+ Monitor product performance, user feedback, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
+ Analyze product metrics including adoption metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Value Delivery:
+ Ensure that the product meets business goals and delivers maximum value to users
+ Communicate the potential value of their products, and quantify the value realized through adoption
Collaboration
+ Serve as a liaison across various Tech@Lilly functional areas to promote and support enterprise-wide test automation initiatives
+ Lead and mentor a diverse team of Test Leads and Engineers to rapidly initiate and scale test automation efforts
+ Provide expert consultation on test automation tools, solution fit, and best practices
+ Collaborate with the Test Automation Architect to ensure platform stability, security, performance, and scalability
+ Work closely with delivery teams to anticipate demand, plan capacity, and ensure timely project execution
What You Should Bring:
+ Experience with API testing and performance testing tools such as k6, LoadRunner, and JMeter.
+ Familiar with database testing and SQL scripting for data validation.
+ Understanding of authentication and identity protocols such as OAuth and OpenID Connect.
+ Experience with accessibility testing standards and tools.
+ Experience in Python scripting for automation and testing tasks
+ Familiar with AWS services
+ Familiar with Power BI reporting
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms and their testing requirements.
+ Understanding of compliance and documentation processes in the healthcare/pharma industry.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiency in BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
+ Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
**Basic Requirements** :
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
+ 6+ years of experience as a Software Tester or Test Lead
+ Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
+ Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright
+ Experience across various testing types: functional, integration, regression, mobile, data, cross-platform, component, security, and UI/UX.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$123,000 - $180,400
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
