Internal Auditor

Job Description

This position requires outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills. As an Internal Quality Auditor, you will ensure that the organization's processes, and the resulting goods and services, comply with customer requirements, business requirements, and industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal quality manuals.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct routine shop audits to prepare for internal and third-party audits.

+ Support the preparation and execution of third-party audits.

+ Participate in internal and external quality/technical audits.

+ Assist in developing audit plans and schedules.

+ Support external supplier/vendor audits in collaboration with the supplier performance team.

+ Assist the audit team in developing audit reports.

+ Obtain, analyze, and evaluate documentation, reports, data, and flowcharts for compliance.

+ Coordinate and communicate audit schedules and plans with process areas.

+ Collaborate with auditees and other auditors during audits.

+ Support the lead auditor in supplier process and performance reviews.

+ Deliver training associated with audits and quality requirements compliance.

+ Generate quality forms and records associated with audits.

+ Take initiative to identify solutions to undefined problems.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Internal audit experience.

+ Proficiency in ETQ Reliance.

+ AS9100 audit certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) with 2 years of experience in a regulated industry such as Food, Drug, Medical, or Aviation.

+ Eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.

+ Ability to read, write, and speak English.

+ Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification or ability to attend an AS9100 auditor course and pass the exam within the first 12 months of employment.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Good attendance record.

+ Willingness to work overtime when required.

Work Environment

The position is fully onsite and follows a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (1st Shift).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $25.00/hr.
