    Job Title: Integration and Test Engineer

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Integration and Test Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining technical documentation, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for systems testing and prototypes. Your expertise will be instrumental in reviewing system specifications, installing and configuring servers, and maintaining network gear.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and procedures.

    + Create configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems.

    + Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentation.

    + Conduct systems and sub-systems testing.

    + Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents.

    + Install and configure Windows/Linux servers.

    + Set up and maintain DNS/Exchange/Active Directory.

    + Maintain virtual environments.

    + Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear, including switches, servers, firewalls, and troubleshoot network-related problems.

    + Capture and deploy system images.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or other IT-related fields.

    + Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) computer and radio systems.

    + Working knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, LAN, WAN.

    + High proficiency in Linux and Windows.

    + High-level understanding of automation and implementation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Working knowledge of network security devices (e.g. firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS).

    + Experience with event management systems (e.g. ISE, Splunk, SolarWinds).

    + Familiarity with Tactical Data Links (e.g. CDL, TTNT, L-16, SADL).

    + Live field testing experience with military communication systems.

    + Experience in automation, scripting, or development in Python or JavaScript.

    + Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments.

    + Experience developing scripts in Ansible.

    + Demonstrate knowledge in using Agile and Scrum testing methodologies and logging results using solutions such as JIRA and Confluence.

    + Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

     

    At GALT Aerospace, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as one grows and develops within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,000-$145,000, and a specific candidate's base pay will depend on their skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    This is a fully onsite position in San Diego,CA.
