    We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Drafter to develop and prepare detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams for manufacturing. This role involves collaborating with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications. The drafter will also revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes in design and manufacturing processes, maintain documentation and records of all drawings and revisions, perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness, and communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure project timelines are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and prepare detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams for manufacturing.

    + Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements.

    + Translate project requirements into accurate technical drawings.

    + Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company specifications.

    + Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes in design and manufacturing processes.

    + Maintain documentation and records of all drawings and revisions.

    + Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure project timelines are met.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks and drafting techniques.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D modeling within a manufacturing environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings.

    + Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

    + Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

    + Experience with BOM management and ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is clean, minimal noise, and organized, featuring front office cubicles in an open format. The small team consists of 30 people, promoting a collaborative atmosphere where everyone sits together.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
