    Job Title: Medical Representative (Eastvale, CA)Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team within the Workplace Health Safety (WHS) division as an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR). You will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce by independently administering first aid, offering guidance, and supporting both occupational and non-occupational health needs. Collaborate with WHS managers and specialists, participate in safety meetings, and engage in proactive health and wellness advocacy.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide first aid support and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.

    + Minimize injury risks through education and proactive engagement.

    + Maintain records of care provided to associates.

    + Coordinate and maintain workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.

    + Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.

    + Engage with associates and leadership to coach on safe work habits.

    + Maintain a clean work environment and manage medical supply inventory.

    + Participate in training and certification for first aid, CPR, and AED classes.

    + Maintain first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.

    + Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

    + Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.

    + Ensure effective care delivery in emergencies and assist in emergency response at the site.

    Essential Skills

    + High School or equivalent diploma.

    + Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider.

    + Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

    + Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, U.S. Army Field Medic, U.S. Army Healthcare Specialist, U.S. Army Hospital Corpsman, U.S. Navy or Aerospace Medical Service Technician, U.S. Air Force.

    + Current active Athletic Trainer Certification by either the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    + Experience with an industrial wellness program.

    + Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.

    + Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation.

    + Proficient in digital record keeping.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working onsite with flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends. You will use various first aid and medical equipment to assist with emergencies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Professional attire is required to maintain a safe and effective environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
