Software Engineer Level 2

Join a dynamic team of skilled Software Engineers in developing Satellite Ground Stations Software as a Database Engineer. You will be working onsite to create innovative solutions that process vast amounts of data received from satellites, turning it into actionable information for end users.

Responsibilities

+ Perform software development of large-scale database solutions.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems.

+ Optimize performance of database objects and queries.

+ Manage installation, patching, and upgrades of Oracle Database Software.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant or equivalent experience.

+ Oracle 19c RAC Database Administration experience.

+ Proficiency in BASH or similar scripting language.

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance required.

+ U.S. citizenship required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Oracle Multitenant Architecture.

+ Familiarity with Chef or Ansible automation.

+ Knowledge of satellite ground system software.

+ Experience with Atlassian Tools.

+ Understanding of Agile Development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
