    Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking a skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of complex invoices and payments. In this critical role, you will support key financial functions and serve as a resource to the Disbursement Manager, Controller, Cash Flow Manager, system leadership, employees, and external vendors.

    $19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Perform daily accounts payable functions, including invoice entry, verification, and payment processing, to ensure timely and accurate vendor disbursements.

    + Create, review, and process weekly check runs across all United Health Services entities in alignment with internal policies and payment schedules.

    + Ensure disbursement requests are properly coded by departments, verifying that expense classifications are correct and approvals align with the Corporate Signature Authority Policy.

    + Review monthly vendor statements to confirm that all invoices have been received, entered, and matched in the system in a timely and accurate manner.

    + Investigate and follow up on items listed in the Discrepant Invoice report by collaborating with Procurement staff to resolve outstanding issues.

    + Monitor and update the Accrued Receipts report to track the status of outstanding receipts and assist in month-end close processes.

    + Review and edit 1099 reports at year-end for all UHS entities to ensure compliance with IRS regulations, including verifying vendor data and tax ID accuracy.

    + Assist in the onboarding and training of new accounts payable staff, particularly in the use of the McKesson PMM system and internal department procedures.

    + Collaborate with Information Services and Procurement teams to support system updates and troubleshoot issues within the McKesson PMM system.

    + Respond to inquiries from internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and general accounts payable procedures.

    + Maintain detailed records and documentation to support audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

    + Identify and recommend process improvements within the accounts payable workflow to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and vendor relations.

    Position Qualifications:

    Minimum Required:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Previous Accounts Payable experience.
