    We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This role involves working hands-on with electronic assemblies, performing tests, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with leadership and Test Engineers.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform debug and test assemblies to component level, utilizing block diagrams and schematics.

    + Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.

    + Troubleshoot operator issues and work with leadership on training and process improvements.

    + Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.

    + Communicate problems to Test Engineers and leadership.

    + Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.

    + Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas.

    + Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.

    + Comply with and follow all company security policies and procedures.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    + Work on problems of limited scope, following standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data.

    + Build stable working relationships internally.

    + Learn to use professional concepts and apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

    + Receive detailed instructions on all work.

    Essential Skills

    + Soldering

    + Assembly

    + Electrical engineering

    + Schematic reading

    + Troubleshooting

    + Use of electronics test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters

    + PCB testing and debugging

    + Circuit board knowledge

    + Utilization of basic hand and power tools

    + Experience with Six Sigma methodologies

    + Wiring

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs

    + Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs

    + Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

    Work Environment

    This position is located on-site in a manufacturing setting in Rochester. The work environment is collaborative and focused on continuous improvement, with opportunities to utilize a range of technologies and equipment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
