    Senior Software Engineer - Level 5

    Job Description

    The qualified candidate will be responsible for evaluating operational software problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service, as well as integration and verification of new baselines.

    Responsibilities

    + Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of software applications.

    + Troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance.

    + Perform testing, integration, and delivery of new software baselines.

    + Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of a complex system in operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Java and C++.

    + Strong background in software development and software integration.

    + Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

    + Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with software configuration management systems such as Git or Bitbucket.

    + Ability to work in a structured configuration-controlled environment.

    + Linux/Unix, SQL experience.

    + Experience with JIRA, BitBucket, and Confluence is desired.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract. This role will involve working in a structured configuration-controlled setting

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $100.00/hr.
