Job Title: Project Manager/Estimator/Technical WriterJob Description

This is a unique role that involves wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts sales, inventory management, and service writing for equipment or automotive sectors. This position requires interfacing with customers, such as dealers, municipalities, and contractors, as well as working closely with production, purchasing, and engineering personnel to communicate customer needs and define vehicle layouts and specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.

+ Estimate costs and prepare bids for projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

+ Write technical service reports and documentation for equipment and automotive parts.

+ Control inventory and manage purchase orders to ensure timely availability of parts.

+ Interface with customers and internal teams to define vehicle layouts and specifications.

+ Collaborate with production, purchasing, and engineering teams to align on customer requirements and project specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Project management experience

+ Budgeting and financial planning

+ Proficiency in managing purchase orders and inventory control

+ Technical writing skills

+ Estimation and bidding skills

+ Understanding of low voltage systems

+ Engineering knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in service writing

+ Minimum 5 years of project management experience in sales, orders, and inventory

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
