Summary:
The Director – Corporate Banking Business Management will play a critical role in driving strategic and operational improvements to support the growth of the Corporate Bank and deliver a more consistent and efficient approach to business operations. This individual will lead the execution of key projects aimed at optimizing efficiency, improving business intelligence, and facilitating the achievement of financial targets. This role requires a highly organized and proactive leader with a strategic mindset, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Strategic Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic projects, including but not limited to:
+ Establishing a target operating model for Corporate Banking and partner teams.
+ Implementing client tiering and Sales Operating Rhythm.
+ Developing and implementing a banker reporting system for tracking revenues and returns.
+ Establishing and managing a Client Profitability review process.
+ Collaborating with performance management in developing a revised banker scorecard to drive business objectives and strategic initiatives.
+ Leading the build-out of a potential formal analyst/associate program.
+ Executing a single-product client evaluation and disposition strategy.
+ Operational Optimization:
+ Collaborate closely with Strategy, Finance, Sales Enablement, and other areas to leverage systems (including Max) to develop reporting, analytics and insights to drive performance.
+ Provide comprehensive business management support with team-wide reporting, presentations, strategy meetings, etc., leveraging administrative and junior resources effectively.
+ Sales Operations:
+ Lead and manage a team of Corporate Banking Development & Strategy (CBDS) colleagues, providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support.
+ Assess the resource requirements across Corporate Banking teams, develop staffing models as needed, and adapt team responsibilities to maximize individual talents and increase banker efficiency.
+ Support the CSG Business Development team with agreed-upon processes and tasks.
+ Strategic Partnership:
+ Collaborate with business leaders to drive segment performance and develop strategic plans.
+ CSG Reporting:
+ Build and maintain monthly pipeline reports for CSG.
+ Lead monthly forecast calls for CSG
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Minimum 8 years’ experience in Commercial Banking in a sales and/or strategic support environment.
+ 3 or more years demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office

+ Demonstrated confidence, assertiveness, professionalism and ability to interact with all levels of the Commercial & Specialty team
+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across functions including management, finance and HR.
+ Exceptional at creative & critical thinking and problem solving, with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
+ Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and across teams.
+ Highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented.

Compensation Range:
$102,000.00 - $208,000.00 USD Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
