    Job Title: Cell Operator

    Job Description

    As a Cell Operator, you will be stationed at your designated "Cell" and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process is nearly identical across all cells, involving a series of repetitive but straightforward steps.

    Responsibilities

    + Fill molding tools with raw materials, specifically placing metal rings into slots on the tool.

    + Operate the machine to mold the finished product and cool it down using an air brush.

    + Inspect the finished products for defects such as air bubbles or rips in the rubber.

    + Log production details, including operator information, maintenance performed, scrap tracking, and quality specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift.

    + Attention to detail for inspecting small products.

    + Capability to lift 35lbs 30 times per hour.

    + Fluency in reading and understanding English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Enthusiasm about the opportunity.

    + Experience in production or manufacturing is beneficial.

    Available Shift & Pay

    + 2nd shift Monday – Friday (2pm-10pm OR 3pm-11pm) - **$23** after shift diff. which starts AFTER TRAINING

    + 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday (10pm-6am OR 11p-7am) - **$23** after shift diff. which starts AFTER TRAINING

    Work Environment

     

    Operators work in a climate-controlled environment. Protective equipment is provided, including safety glasses and Kevlar sleeves. The facility allows drinks with caps on the floor, and employees must adhere to a no-smoking policy during work hours. Shifts are structured to include paid breaks, with no leaving the facility during work hours.

    This is a Contract to Hire position located 20 minutes west of Rushville, Indiana

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
