    Aerotek is currently hiring for welders in the Baltimore, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

    Job Description:

    + Weld components and interpret weld symbols and blueprints.

    + Take ownership of project progress and provide reports.

    + Manage inventory and project materials.

    + Configure pipe systems and plan piping layouts.

    + Ensure systems are safely turned off before working.

    + Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals like carbon and stainless steel.

    + Clean debris and hazardous materials from pipes.

    + Install piping or tubing segments securely.

    + Thread, weld, and solder piping together.

    + Consult with job site supervisors for hole placements.

    + Ensure correct pipe sizes, hangers, supports, and joints.

    + Perform trial runs and tests on pipe systems.

    + Repair and reinforce broken or inadequate systems.

    Essential Skills:

    + Mig welding

    + Stainless steel welding

    + Flux core welding

    + Assembly

    + Pneumatics

    + Hydraulics

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $68640.00/yr.
