    -1st shift Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm + OT

     

    -$19.50-20.50 (raise every 90 days)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Paint Prep Laborer with a minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in paint preparation or auto collision repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for sealing seams, preparing units, sanding, polishing, and scuffing areas on vehicles to eliminate paint defects. The role also involves masking and taping for paint preparation and performing light bodywork.

     

    This is a shop position (Long Term with full benefits)

     

    Regular pay raises

     

    Overtime provided

    Responsibilities

    + Seal all seams and prepare products for painting.

    + Sand, polish, and scuff areas on vehicles prior to addressing paint defects.

    + Mask and tape areas for paint preparation.

    + Perform light bodywork tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience in paint preparation.

    + Proficient in sanding, polishing, and buffing.

    + Ability to perform light bodywork.

    + Bilingual skills, with Spanish preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in auto body work.

    + Knowledge of masking techniques.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
