Job Title: Paint Preparation and Painting Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual responsible for the preparation of paint products and ensuring metal is properly taped and ready for final paint coats. This role involves painting parts using powder and liquid paint, working in the paint booth, and assisting painters.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare paint products daily and ensure metal is properly taped for final paint coats.

+ Paint parts using powder and liquid paint.

+ Assist painters in the paint booth by performing painting tasks.

+ Load and unload parts in the paint booth.

+ Lift parts up to 70 lbs and hang them on paint hooks.

+ Perform visual inspection of parts before and after painting.

+ Clean parts before and after they enter the paint booth.

+ Utilize hand and power tools, operate equipment such as drills and screw guns, read prints, and perform large assemblies when necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, paint application, liquid painting, and paint preparation.

+ Ability to perform assembly tasks related to painting.

+ 6 months of experience working with liquid paint in a paint booth or a similar setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

+ Entry-level position suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
