    Description:

    seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our fabrication team in Manning, SC. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in metal fabrication and machine operation within a dynamic and supportive environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, form, and straighten metal sheets and plates.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and production schedules to determine specifications such as material type, size, and thickness.

    + Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet customer specifications and company standards.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

    + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

    + Document production activities and maintain accurate records.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    + Basic understanding of brake press operation and metal fabrication.

    + Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.

    + Familiarity with machine operating procedures and safety standards.

    + Ability to edit or make minor modifications to machine programs is a plus.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Team-oriented with good communication skills.
