Job Title: Machine Operator ALL SHIFTS!!

Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for the overall operation of machinery to supply quality products while meeting deadlines safely. This role involves training and providing direction to Assistant Machine Operators, assisting in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other production-related documentation, inventory data entry, and cross-training into other job functions as needed. Routine attendance at departmental, production, safety, and company meetings is required. The position is in the conversion department, which involves operating a sit-down forklift and reroller machine that feeds into the lamination machine.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machinery to ensure the production of quality goods.

+ Train and guide Assistant Machine Operators.

+ Assist in the creation of SOPs and other production-related documentation.

+ Enter inventory data accurately.

+ Cross-train in other job functions as needed.

+ Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings regularly.

+ Operate sit-down forklift and reroller machine.

Essential Skills

+ Forklift & Machine operation

+ 1+ years of manufacturing experience

+ 4 years of machine operator/manufacturing experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of YORK, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
