Job Title: Harvest Scale Operator
Job Description
Begin as an Office Assistant with the opportunity to transition to a Harvest Scale Operator during the harvest season. This role requires proficiency in computer use, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word. A resume is required, but no interview is necessary.
Responsibilities
+ Scale trucks accurately.
+ Work collaboratively with other employees and carrier/truckers.
+ Maintain a professional attitude with visitors.
+ Answer multi-line phones efficiently.
+ Perform data entry and reconcile scale tickets.
+ Be comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
+ Perform filing and alphabetizing tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in computer skills.
+ Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
+ Ability to stand for long periods.
+ Capability to climb stairs occasionally.
+ Must not be colorblind.
+ Ability to read English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with general labor and administration tasks.
+ Data entry and customer service skills.
+ Clerical abilities.
+ Forklift operation experience is a plus.
+ Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Work Environment
The role involves working in an agricultural setting where cleanliness might be affected by corn and insecticide dust. Employees need to be prepared to stand on their feet for 12-hour shifts, climb stairs, and lift up to 60 lbs. The schedule consists of 12.5 hours per day for 3.5 days per week, including a weekend day. Shift times are Wednesday from 12:00pm-6:30pm and Thursday through Saturday from 5:45am-6:30pm. Dress code requires neat, casual attire with long pants, a shirt covering the shoulders, and shoes that cover the heel and toes. Steel-toed boots are mandatory if working in the warehouse area.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
