Job Title: Patient Meal Service Support Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the patient meal selection, service, and delivery process. This role involves assisting patients with menu selections, assembling meal tray carts, delivering and retrieving patient meals and snacks, and providing clerical support to the Hospitality Service Office when needed.
Responsibilities
+ Assist patients with menu selections on assigned units.
+ Assemble meal tray carts for patient care units.
+ Deliver and retrieve patient meal trays and snacks to and from patient rooms.
+ Provide clerical support to the Hospitality Service Office as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in foodservice and line cooking.
+ Ability to prepare quality foods for patients, employees, and guests.
+ Proficiency in food preparation and service.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with recipes and cooking in a professional setting.

Work Environment
The work environment includes shifts with rotating weekends. There are three openings for the 6:00 am to 2:30 pm shift and two openings for the 11:30 am to 8:00 pm shift, each requiring work five days a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
