Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Field Technician with a reputable water well contractor. Since 1948, our operations have diversified to include a wide variety of groundwater drilling and service operations. This role involves the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of water well pumps, working both in the shop and in the field.

Work hours are **Monday to Friday** ,7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime if in the field.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Pump Technician ($20-$25/hour):

+ Assemble and disassemble water well pumps, including light painting and cleaning.

+ Work with 6" - 12" pipes and 10' shafting; training provided.

+ Re-manufacture parts, pumps, and piping for reuse.

+ Perform general labor duties such as sweeping and carrying heavy parts (up to 80 lbs).

+ Comfortable working outdoors and splitting time between the shop and field.

Field Technician ($20-$25/hour):

+ Remove and install pumps and piping using a rig for lifting.

+ Assemble pumps and pipes on-site with the help of the crew.

+ Not a plumbing or pipefitter position; involves carrying large water pipes and using machinery to install them.

+ Comfortable working outdoors for the majority of the day (95% fieldwork).

Operator ($25-$28/hour, depending on experience):

+ Prior operating experience required.

+ Lead a crew of 2-3 technicians.

+ Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain/renew it.

+ Client exposure on sites.

+ Maintenance and repair of equipment.

Essential Skills:

+ Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Experience in general labor, landscaping, concrete, or similar fields.

+ Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

+ Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanically inclined position.

Qualifications:

+ Class A CDL preferred for operator positions.

+ Prior experience in operating heavy machinery required for operator roles.

+ Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

+ Strong client interaction skills for operator positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
