Sterile Processing Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shifts

We are seeking motivated and organized Sterile Processing Technicians to join our team. This critical role ensures our operating rooms and procedural areas are stocked with clean, sterile instruments and supplies to support safe, high-quality patient care.

NOW HIRING FOR:

_2nd Shift_

+ Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday

+ Must be available for rotating weekends

+ **Pay: $20.30/hr**

_3rd Shift_

+ Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–Friday

+ Must be available for rotating weekends

+ **Pay: $20.75/hr**

Responsibilities

+ Inspect, clean, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment

+ Operate sterilization equipment (e.g., autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners)

+ Prepare, store, and restock sterile supplies per protocol

+ Document sterilization and cleaning activities accurately

+ Assist operating room staff with supply and equipment setup

+ Monitor inventory and reorder supplies as needed

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area

+ Follow all safety and infection control procedures

+ Report issues or concerns to supervisors promptly

+ Participate in ongoing training and education

Skills

+ Sterile processing (not required but a plus)

+ Assembly and decontamination

+ Production and packaging

+ Materials handling and inspection

Qualifications

+ **_High school diploma or GED_**

+ Previous experience in sterile processing or related field preferred

+ Knowledge of standard sterilization procedures

+ Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination

+ Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

+ Effective communication and problem-solving skills

+ Team-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.75/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
