Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The General Warehouse Support position is responsible for order picking and packing, staging of both ship out and will call orders, processing cable cuts, lagging reels, palletizing reels, and boxing cable cuts.

Responsibilities

+ Assure that the warehouse is cleaned daily, including sweeping and daily pickups of all trash on the floor.

+ Maintain, sort, and organize merchandise so that it can be easily located in proper locations.

+ Pick all orders that come in daily ensuring 100% accuracy for customer orders.

+ Pack all orders with 100% accuracy and protection for customer orders.

+ Pick, pack, and load customer will call orders.

+ Process cable cuts, lagging/boxing of reels/coils, and palletizing reels per customer requirements.

+ Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.

+ Display a strong work ethic, honesty, and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

+ Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail-oriented.

+ Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.

+ Clock in/out accurately and take rest and meal breaks as required per Company policy.

+ Work overtime as required based on business needs.

+ Additional job duties and responsibilities can be added at any time.

Essential Skills

+ Forklift experience is a must.

+ Ability to lift 50lbs.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and bend and reach overhead.

+ Experience using a handheld scanner.

+ Minimum education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ One year of warehouse experience.

+ Ability to read and write in English and understand basic math skills.

+ Great customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Enjoy working in a team environment.

+ Ability to work under deadline pressure with organizational skills.

+ Sit down forklift experience of at least 1 year.

+ Experience in inventory, picking, packing, general labor, material handling, pallet jack use, order picking, unloading, sit-down forklift, shipping and receiving, warehouse inventory.

Work Environment

Work in a small warehouse with a team of 10-15 employees. Operations include distribution, shipping, and holding from 7am to 4pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gold River, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
