The Director of Nursing provides strategic leadership and administration for the Cardiac Cath Lab and Inpatient Services. Responsible for implementing True North, ensuring patient care, safety, and quality. The director promotes collaboration with key stakeholders, fosters professional communication, and drives strategic thinking. They are accountable for achieving MMC's goals through quality improvement, performance indicators, and team engagement. The director ensures appropriate scope of practice and collaborates with managers to improve processes, maintain safety and satisfaction, and achieve operational goals.

Oversees additional inpatient services and units including but not limited to: A4 Cardiac Telemetry, C4 Telemetry, and D5 Oncology

What We’re Looking For:

A master’s degree in nursing, business administration, hospital administration or a related field is required. If the master’s is non-nursing, the candidate must have a BSN. Candidates currently enrolled in a master’s program will be considered; the degree must be complete within 3 years of accepting the role.

Three or more years of experience in a management / leadership position required, direct report experience preferred

Registered Nursing License in the State of Michigan

Basic Life Support

Empower nurses to be accountable for patient outcomes, providing leadership in setting nursing practice standards.
