Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting land operations through the preparation and management of key documentation and data. Duties include drafting and processing contracts, JOAs, leases, and assignments; reviewing and coding invoices; and managing proposal letters and election deadlines for both inside and outside-operated properties. This role also involves calculating ownership interests, interpreting title and curative documents, maintaining land system data, preparing regulatory applications and well set-ups, and supporting acquisition and divestiture activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards while demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office and land-related software.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Draft and prepare contracts, JOAs, assignments, and other land-related documents.
+ Review and code invoices to the appropriate AFE; circulate for necessary approvals.
+ Prepare, submit, and track proposal letters for new wells, workovers, recompletions, and pluggings.
+ Ability to calculate working interest (WI) and net revenue interest (NRI) ownership in wells.
+ Interpret basic title ownership and curative documents.
+ Maintain accurate data in land systems and monitor time-sensitive deadlines.
+ Prepare regulatory applications and well-set-ups.
+ Support acquisition and divestiture processes with general contract knowledge.
+ Ensure compliance with internal procedures.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
+ High school diploma (or GED).
+ Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
+ An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping.
+ Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
+ Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
