    Job Title: Car Carrier Operations Analyst

     

    Start Date: Immediate, pending successful completion of required screening

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

     

    Flexibility to shift to 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM as needed

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Car Carrier Operations Analyst to support our logistics and cost management functions. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency across assigned trade lanes and maintaining compliance with internal procedures and vendor agreements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Create, monitor, and adjust Voyage Instructions

    + Perform cost analysis to determine the most cost-effective schedules

    + Issue Sailing Information for assigned trade lanes

    + Prepare cost savings and expense reports (e.g., labor, terminal costs)

    + Manage invoice approvals for USEC and Gulf Ports

    + Monitor vendor discounts and cost savings

    + Ensure local Agents comply with operating procedures

    + Issue and manage supporting documents for Agent cost report submissions

    + Maintain and update cost calculators and distance tables

    + Track ILA holiday schedules and labor ordering timelines

    + Maintain contact lists for terminals, stevedores, and agencies

    + Serve as liaison for vessel incidents between trade management and other parties

    + Oversee US Port cost management

    + Communicate upcoming events to stevedores, terminals, and vessels

    + Collaborate with other offices, vendors, and vessel captains

    + Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    + Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and communication

    + Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

    + Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work setting

    + Clear and professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

    + Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, and general computer applications

    + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Interview Process:

    Interviews are preferably conducted in person. However, virtual interviews may be arranged if scheduling conflicts arise. Candidates may also be required to participate in a second-round interview.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
