    FlexStaff is hiring a temporary Insurance Authorization Specialist to work with our client.

     

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

    Pay Rate: $20-25/hour dependent upon experience

    + Obtain insurance verification for surgeries

    + Confirm if pre-authorization is needed

    + Confirm with physician office to obtain pre-authorization if needed

    + Calculate the patient's expected payment at time of surgery (copay, deductible, coinsurance etc.)

    + Call patient at least 72 hours in advance of their expected payment at the time of surgery

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

    + 0-1 year administrative experience, required.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required.

    + Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.

    + Ability to communicate effectively.
