    Position:

    Medical Director, Clinical Informatics and Content Standards

    Position Summary:

    The Medical Director, Clinical Informatics & Content Standards will lead clinical oversight of how structured and unstructured data feeds into our AI ecosystem, ensuring that outputs are credible, safe, and evidence based. This role combines informatics and clinical leadership to oversee NLP pipelines, risk prediction models, evidence-based content, and post-market quality monitoring. This position will work closely with engineering, data science, clinical operations, and quality teams to maintain high standards for safety, validation, and responsible AI use.

    Job Description:

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee clinical NLP extraction, coding, and mapping for structured data from EHRs and AI agent transcript interactions.

    + Provide clinical leadership for efforts to store and retrieve patient data.

    + Partner with data science teams to guide development and validation of risk prediction models.

    + Collaborate with data science to design, implement, and monitor processes for post-market QA, patient safety surveillance, and continuous improvement.

    + Develop dashboards for monitoring safety, accuracy, trust, fluency, etc.

    + Support development of AI agent services.

    + Support development of Best Next Action logic to ensure data and recommendations are clinically sensible and credible.

    Qualifications:

    + Medical degree (MD or DO) with active board certification in a medical specialty.

    + Preferred: Primary care clinical experience.

    + Strong background in clinical informatics, population health, or healthcare IT.

    + Familiarity with coding systems: ICD-10, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC, CPT.

    + Experience with clinical quality, patient safety, or regulatory compliance a plus.

    + Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

    Preferred:

    + 5+ years of clinical practice experience

    + While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.

    Pay Transparency:

    Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.

    The hiring range for this position is:

    $218,225.00-$317,393.75
