Leprino Foods - Lemoore East Plant is looking for temporary positions to fill until December 31, 2025, due to plant closure. We are offering a Retention Bonus for those emploiyees who meet criteria. This is an on-call position, which does not guarantee 40 hours a week. Shift differential and overtime rates will apply.

Job Duties:

+ On a daily basis, reviews and evaluates all test results. Sets up any appropriate retests. Distributes results to appropriate departments.

+ Responsible for monitoring and/or participating in all Quality Control programs (calibrations, controls, technician cross-checks, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of equipment; and/or master sanitation schedule).

+ Work within guidelines of all company policies and procedures, including lab safety, good laboratory practices and good manufacturing procedures.

+ Implements and maintains 5S standards and critical safety rules.

+ Must be 18 years of age

+ 1+ years of experience in lab environment

+ Proficient computer knowledge,

+ Knowledge of quality methods and techniques, including FSMA concept for food safety, quality assurance standards, food laboratory testing methods and operations

+ Must be able to work nights, Holidays, weekends.

+ Background in microbiology, chemistry, food technology, food science, or dairy science. Dairy manufacturing experiencepreferred.

Work Environment Description:

+ Works in both the plant production environment which requires walking, climbing, standing and in an office environment which requires standing and sitting.

+ May be required to occasionally independently move and handle objects up to 25 pounds.

Hourly wage is from $29.51 to $33.16 per hour.
