Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for an experienced and highly motivated Production and Sustainment Support Mechanical Engineering Manager to join our team. As a member of the Continued Engineering Services (CES) team, you will have a chance to both provide engineering support for complex mechanical assemblies and manage a team of mechanical engineers supporting multiple products and product lines. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.
Activities day to day will vary and may include:
+ Working with Program Management Office (PMO) to understand and plan for the Mechanical Engineering staffing needs
+ Assignment of Mechanical Engineering resources to support program execution across various product lines
+ Training and development of mechanical engineering team
+ Leading and peer reviewing issue resolution for mechanical product defects
+ Utilize a metric-based approach to drive product yield and affordability improvements
+ Leading/Supporting transition to production of new products
+ Working in partnership with a cross functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve complex mechanical engineering problems
+ Experience taking products through the product development process from design through sustainment
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment
+ Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
+ Ability to directly supervise a team of 10 mechanical engineers
+ Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
+ Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
+ Experience as a direct line supervisor
+ Experience with RF Systems / Products
+ Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans
+ Experience leading and or supporting Root Cause Corrective Actions and Corrective Action Boards
+ Experience facilitating the successful transition to production of new product designs
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
