    Job Description

    BAE Systems is seeking highly skilled targeting officers with at least 10 years of cyber security experience to support a client s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The selected candidates will oversee sophisticated targeting efforts, drive operational initiatives, and work with various teams to achieve mission objectives. The position requires a strong understanding of digital and computer networks, targeting concepts, and experience with IC tools and systems. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization. The positions require prior experience in supporting customer operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives. Successful candidates will have strong investigative skills, be a self-starter, identify issues and offer solutions, and can collaborate and work both independently and as part of a team.

     

    The positions require an active clearance with Polygraph. There is no exception to the clearance requirement.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent experience) in areas such as Cybersecurity, Computer Network Forensics, Network Administration, Computer Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or large-scale data analysis.

    + Experience performing work related to the position and an understanding of digital networks, including OSI model, network diagrams and architecture, network security and management products, web services, and layer 3/layer 2 configuration files. Demonstrated strong investigative skills to perform independent analysis on a variety of data sets to find elements of interest, whether it be computing and mobile devices, network activity, or individuals.

    + Experience/understanding of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Digital Network Intelligence (DNI), Computer Network Operations (CNO)

    + Experience with internet applications and protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems, SQL, Hadoop, or other DBMS.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Network traffic analysis experience using Wireshark, Suricata, and nDPI, to baseline standard activity and identify anomalies.

    + Experience, an understanding or interest in business, cryptocurrency, finance, and/or related fields.

    + The ability or interest in leveraging new technologies, including FINTECH

    + An understanding of scripting languages such as Python and certifications to include CISSP, GIAC GPEN, CEH, OSCP, CNDA, and Sec are desired.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
