    Position Overview

    The Vice President, Brand and Corporate Communications – The Americas, will serve as a senior

     

    communications leader responsible for devising and executing an integrated, forward-thinking

     

    communications strategy across North and Latin America.

     

    Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Communications, this role will lead efforts to

     

    enhance corporate and brand visibility, strengthen internal and external engagement, and amplify ELC’s

     

    transformation agenda.

     

    The VP will oversee key communications pillars including corporate and brand communications, internal

    communications, media relations for brands, executive visibility, issues and crisis management, stakeholder

    engagement, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, strategic, and collaborative leader with

     

    the ability to combine regional and global communications priorities, with a keen sense of brand equity and

     

    NA buzz, to offer proactive solutions to address emerging challenges and opportunities.

     

    This role will play a critical part in accelerating ELC’s digital-first and omnichannel communications strategy,

     

    ensuring brand messaging and engagement are optimized across all platforms where our consumers and

     

    stakeholders interact—whether online, offline, or hybrid.

     

    This high-profile role offers the opportunity to drive impactful communications for one of the world’s most

    prestigious companies, ensuring that ELC continues to thrive amidst dynamic geopolitical and cultural

    landscapes. The VP, Brand and Corporate Communications – The Americas, will be at the forefront of shaping

     

    the company’s reputation, engagement, and cultural relevancy across the region and brands.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. _Brand Communications_

    + _Develop and drive an integrated communications effort across the company’s portfolio of brands in NA_ _and LATAM, focusing on compelling brand storytelling, driving brand equity, digital and omnichannel_ _buzz, and deepening consumer love and engagement for our brands._

    + Collaborate with Global and Regional brand leadership teams to ensure messaging reflects globalbrand image and voice.

    + Be aware of and guide our brand teams to stay ahead of trends, tapping into authentic, new anddiverse voices, to drive consumer engagement with new and existing consumers.

    + Leverage digital content strategies (social, influencers, SEO/SEM, video, podcasts) and omnichannelplatforms (owned, earned, paid, shared) to increase reach and resonance.

    + Elevate brand love by focusing on earned media strategies and ensuring that everything we do feelsfresh and on-point.

    2. Media Relations for Regional Leadership & Brands

    + Develop and implement innovative media strategies to elevate the profile of regional leaders and ourbrands.• Build and nurture relationships with journalists and media outlets to ensure our brand and leadershipget the spotlight they deserve.• Prepare leadership for media appearances, interviews, and speaking engagements that amplify theirvoice and showcase our industry leadership.• Serve as a bridge between regional and global communications teams, ensuring collaboration andconsistency in messaging and strategy execution.• Integrate media strategy with digital storytelling across web, mobile, and social platforms to drivecohesive visibility.

    3. Corporate Communications

    + Develop and drive a comprehensive corporate communications strategy for North and Latin America,ensuring alignment with ELC’s global vision and business priorities.• Shape and manage a strategic, coordinated communications calendar to optimize visibility andconsistency across business functions and brand teams.• Work hand-in-hand with leadership to manage reputation opportunities, handle risks, and seizemoments to make an impact.• Ensure all corporate messaging is optimized for digital distribution channels, including companywebsites, newsletters, social media, and intranet platforms.

    4. Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

    + Oversee internal communications for employees in the Americas, fostering transparency, alignment,and connectivity to company priorities.• Bring our company values to life through engaging storytelling and communication cascades that keepemployees inspired and motivated.• Work closely with HR and brand teams to align employee messaging with our big-picture goals andcelebrate successes along the way.• Champion the use of digital tools (intranets, video updates, mobile apps, collaboration platforms) tocreate a seamless, omnichannel employee communication experience.

    5. Issues & Crisis Communications Management

    + Lead coordinated issues and crisis communication strategies across NA and LATAM, ensuring quick,effective responses to protect ELC’s corporate reputation.• In close collaboration with Global, identify and assess potential risks across operations, public policy,media, and brand perception, driving strategic mitigation measures.• Develop real-time response protocols across digital and social channels to manage brand reputation inthe always-on news cycle.

    Qualifications

    • **Experience** : 12-15+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, brand

     

    communications, or public relations, ideally within large, matrixed, global organizations.• Leadership: Proven ability to manage high-performing teams and deliver communications strategies in

     

    a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • **Expertise** : Strong background in media relations, executive visibility, and issues management,

     

    combined with a deep understanding of digital communications, omnichannel engagement, and

     

    cultural relevancy.

     

    • **Strategic Thinking** : Demonstrated success in developing and executing forward-looking, integrated

     

    communications strategies that align with business transformations.

     

    • **Crisis Management** : Experience crafting effective crisis communications plans and mitigating business

     

    risks in complex environments.

     

    • **Communication Skills** : Exceptional ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt tone across various

     

    internal and external audiences.

     

    • **Preferred Background** : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related

     

    field; advanced degree preferred. Industry experience in beauty or consumer goods is a plus.

    Pay Range:

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$221,600.00** to **$377,200.00** . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan. In addition,
