Summary:

A real estate loan funder is responsible for funding the loan based on the requirements as listed by the real estate loan processor and loan approval.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Ordering wires or cashier checks at the appropriate time for seamless funding

+ Clearing all Prior to Funding (PTF) conditions prior to approving the loan for funding with the settlement agent.

+ Communicating professionally and courteously with all parties involved in the transaction including but not limited to: loan officer, lending assistant, loan processor and the title company.

+ Copying the loan officer, lending assistant and processor on all emails when communicating with title including but not limited to when the funding documents will be reviewed, what items are missing to issue a funding and when the loan receives funding authorization.

+ Handing off funded files within 24 hours of funding to booking.

+ Meeting or exceeding FSB’s standards of customer service.

+ Responding to all emails and calls timely.

+ Collecting any information after loan closes and funds to ensure clean and accurate file delivery.

+ Responding to all post-funding issues in a timely manner.

Education and Work Experience:

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ One to three years clerical, administrative or general office experience

+ Banking experience is desired but not required.

+ Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment.

+ Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task and time manage to maximize output.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office desired.

+ No previous experience in similar position required.
