    Are you energized by process efficiency, team leadership, and impactful change? We’re looking for a Senior Process Improvement Engineer to lead performance and continuous improvement efforts for a key manufacturing value stream on 2nd shift. In this high-impact role, you’ll champion safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while coaching teams, solving problems, and cultivating a culture of lean excellence.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Manufacturing Operations

    + Lead day-to-day operations in a designated production area, ensuring team alignment on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

    + Facilitate smooth start-up of production lines and ensure all equipment and resources are in place.

    + Monitor performance metrics, drive daily problem-solving, and ensure seamless handoffs between shifts.

    + Implement and uphold lean manufacturing practices and standardized work to drive process consistency and efficiency.

    + Coach team leaders and operators on performance expectations and best practices.

    Continuous Improvement

    + Lead root cause investigations to address production inefficiencies and eliminate waste.

    + Facilitate kaizen events and implement sustainable countermeasures to improve throughput and line performance.

    + Champion the Appliance Production System by promoting a continuous improvement mindset and empowering teams to solve problems at the source.

    Team Leadership & Administration

    + Provide hands-on leadership to ensure consistent policy and procedure application.

    + Manage staffing, resource allocation, and overtime coverage to meet production needs.

    + Ensure accurate completion of administrative responsibilities including payroll, performance documentation, and employee relations.

    + Collaborate with HR on coaching, development, and disciplinary matters.

    Quality & Safety Focus

    + Uphold quality standards by proactively identifying and addressing defects and process gaps.

    + Lead quality checks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

    + Reinforce a safety-first culture, ensure compliance with PPE protocols, and lead accident investigations and corrective actions.

     

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    What You’ll Bring

    + Strong leadership presence with experience in manufacturing, operations, or process engineering.

    + Proven ability to build trust and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including hourly and unionized teams.

    + High energy, initiative, and a drive for personal and team development.

    + Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

    + Technical competence and the ability to lead team-based improvement projects.

    + Flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including off-shifts, on-call, and occasional weekends.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree (technical field preferred) **OR** equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or operations leadership role.

    + Demonstrated ability to work and lead collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with both salaried and union hourly personnel to meet the needs of the operators, the program and the business.

    + Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
