CTG is seeking to fill a Senior DevOps Engineer opening for our client in Dallas, TX.
**Location:** Dallas, TX
**Duration:** 5 months
Duties:
+ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
+ Manage and optimize iOS build pipelines leveraging Fastlane, Xcode, and macOS environments.
+ Deploy and manage Java microservices developed in Spring Boot within Kubernetes and Docker environments.
+ Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python.
+ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
+ Support mobile app distribution through MDM solutions.
+ Identify and resolve CI/CD failures, deployment issues, and performance bottlenecks across systems.
+ Apply security best practices throughout the CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
+ Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery pipelines.
+ Independently manage tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Skills:
+ Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD or comparable continuous integration/delivery tools.
+ Extensive experience with iOS build and release management using Fastlane, Xcode, and macOS.
+ Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools: Docker and Kubernetes.
+ Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation and toolchain development.
+ Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
+ Familiarity with enterprise mobile app distribution via Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
+ Solid troubleshooting capabilities for build/deploy failures and system bottlenecks.
+ Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps and production environments.
Experience:
+ 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
+ Demonstrated success in managing CI/CD pipelines for both mobile and backend systems.
+ Hands-on experience in production support and performance monitoring in large-scale environments.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
