CTG is seeking to fill a Systems Analyst 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX.
**Location:** Austin, TX (hybrid remote)
**Work Hours:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central
Duties:
+ Understand business objectives and operational challenges to identify alternative solutions.
+ Conduct detailed studies and cost/benefit analyses of alternatives to improve or automate existing systems.
+ Analyze user requirements, procedures, and issues to recommend system enhancements or new solutions.
+ Collaborate with personnel to assess current operational procedures, identify problems, and document input/output needs.
+ Write detailed documentation describing user needs, program functionality, and steps to develop or modify programs.
+ Review system capabilities and limitations to determine feasibility of proposed changes.
+ Lead efforts in implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
+ Gather requirements, perform fit-gap analyses, and map data to/from legacy and third-party systems.
+ Support documentation, hands-on testing, training initiatives, and additional project tasks.
+ Participate in remote collaboration with large teams and support project deliverables, including occasional off-hours work depending on the project phase.
Skills:
+ Deep functional knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills in remote and hybrid environments
+ Proficient in Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
+ Comfortable using MS Teams, SharePoint, and Jira
+ Solid understanding of fit-gap analysis and business process documentation
+ Knowledge of PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) and STAT
+ Experience with Scrum methodology preferred
Experience:
+ 8 years required – Business analyst experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
+ 8 years required – Business analyst experience in Accounts Receivable and Billing implementations
+ 8 years required – Requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts
+ 8 years required – End-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces
+ 8 years required – Experience with Microsoft O365 (at least 4 of the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
+ 8 years required – Experience with MS Teams (at least 2 years)
+ 4 years preferred – Experience with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government)
+ 2 years preferred – Experience as a business analyst in Asset Management
+ 2 years preferred – Experience as a business analyst in Accounts Payable
+ 2 years preferred – Experience as a business analyst in General Ledger
+ 2 years preferred – Experience working with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system
+ 2 years preferred – Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
+ 2 years preferred – Experience with SharePoint
+ 1 year preferred – Experience with Jira
+ 1 year preferred – Experience with Scrum framework
+ 1 year preferred – Experience with STAT
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
