    Purpose of Role

     

    The RSO Plant Manager is a dynamic and people-focused leader responsible for overseeing the day-today operations of the plant while fostering a culture rooted in human-centered leadership. This role emphasizes managing people with empathy and authenticity, celebrating their successes, and cultivating an organizational culture where team members feel seen, heard, and helped. The RSO Plant Manager is committed to growing and developing a high-performing team while driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include managing plant operations ensuring the plant is compliant with all safety policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement, and championing Rehrig-s mission and values.

     

    Areas of Accountabilities

    Demonstrate and Ensure Human-Centered Leadership:

    + Lead with empathy and understanding, prioritizing the well-being and development of all team members.

    + Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements to foster a positive and motivating work

     

    environment.

     

    + Promote and maintain a workplace culture where all employees feel valued, included, and empowered to

     

    contribute.

     

    + Implement and execute the plant-s People Engagement plan

    Ensure Compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S):

    + Perform frequent compliance reviews. Lock out tag out (LOTO) periodic inspections, site safety checklist,

     

    EHS&S calendar action items.

     

    + Perform frequent Behavior Based Safety Observations (BBSOs)

    + Perform frequent 5S inspections to ensure facility is compliant.

    + Monitor Site EHS&S Scorecard and utilize Velocity EHS to identify leading indicators

    Drive Continuous Improvement:

    + Build continuous improvement activities into the daily work at the plant by involving the team in Kaizen activity. Utilize Kaizen methodology along with other tools such as Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) and A3 to drive continuous improvement.

    + Monitor KPI Metrics to drive decision-making

    + Develop and help manage capital improvement projects

    + Manage and support site CI tracker to analyze efficacy of CI projects

    Maintain Operational Excellence:

    + Oversee plant operations to ensure high standards of Quality and Productivity are consistently met to

     

    standard.

     

    + Operate within Site budget by managing plant resources effectively

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

     

    + Experienced in plant management or a similar leadership role for at least 3 years.

    + High School diploma required or equivalent.

    + Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Commitment to team development and operational excellence.

    + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
