    Summary The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT D00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will serve as a Branch Manager in the Product Support Division (D20) within the Digital Engineering Department (D Department). You will be responsible for the effective leadership and management of one of the following Branches within the D20 Division (021, 022, 023, 024, D25, 026, and 027) You will participate in or may lead Branch, Division, Dept. and Command initiatives. You will ensure satisfactory motivation, morale, and productivity of Branch employees through establishing and managing effective performance management, hiring, and professional development practices. You will accomplish assigned duties through and up to 30 government employees to assure implementation of the goals and objectives for the program segment(s) or function(s) they oversee while meeting key program metrics and milestones. You will manage current and future manning requirements to achieve work-year targets for both civilians and contractors. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing or leading Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning or coordination of acquisition program requirements for the life cycle of naval surface combat weapon systems to meet fleet readiness initiatives. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
