_POSITION SUMMARY:_

The Manufacturing Engineering Process Technician is responsible for the on call technical support for manufacturing.

_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_

+ Specializes in process knowledge and boat construction they will then break down barriers that hinder efficiencies such as process, quality, warranty, and through-put issues.

+ Develops new product, with their input ensuring that boats are designed to fit within the manufacturing processes that is being homed in New Bern.

+ Provides on floor support for Manufacturing.

+ Projects (building new product, fixtures, or jigs).

+ Audits Manufacturing for BOM or process improvement (CI work).

+ ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

_EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_

+ Minimum Degree Required: Associates or technical training in any field

+ Preferred Degree: Bachelors in any engineering field

_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:_

+ Self-Starter

+ Technical Aptitude

+ Hands-on when needed

+ Basic Cad capabilities including print creation

+ Good inter-personal skills

+ Can work well and train others

+ Background in Boat Building or Composites helpful

+ Able to create work instructions
