Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Student Assistant to support the Classifications and Selections team in the Quality of Life (QOL) Human Resources office. This position is ideal for a student who is eager to grow their Human Resources career while contributing to a team who are focused on ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Required Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in thejob specifications of the Student Assistant class. Alternate Education and Experience
The student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution.
Student Assistant positions cannot exceed 129 working hours in a calendar month and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term, providing proof of enrollment at the start of each term. Student Assistant appointments end the month in which the student graduates or is no longer enrolled in school. A Student Assistant position cannot exceed six years unless otherwise approved by Human Resources.
