Qualifications
The Customer Experience Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by answering calls, managing email correspondence, processing payments, and offering timely, accurate solutions to customer inquiries. This role requires direct communication with customers, actively listening to their needs, and providing clear and effective information. This is a key position within the Customer Service Department that plays a significant role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Answer Incoming Calls: Respond to customer calls in a professional and friendly manner, addressing inquiries, processing payments, and resolving issues efficiently.
+ Manage Email Correspondence: Handle customer emails, providing clear responses and solutions to any questions or concerns. Ensure all communications are processed in a timely manner.
+ Customer Needs Assessment: Listen attentively to customer inquiries, identify their needs or concerns, and offer relevant information or solutions. Strive to resolve issues on the first contact whenever possible.
+ Call Transfers: When necessary, transfer calls to the appropriate department or team member who can provide further assistance or address specific issues.
+ Mailing Customer Communications: Send out relevant letters or notifications to customers as needed, such as payment confirmations, reminders, or updates regarding their accounts.
Skills, Education, and Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent; bilingual skills are a plus.
+ Customer Service or Finance Experience: Prior experience in customer service or finance is a plus and will help you understand customer needs more effectively.
+ Phone Skills: Strong phone etiquette and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
+ Basic Computer Skills: Ability to manage customer information and communications using basic computer applications.
