Tredegar Surface Protection has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Team!
As an integral member of our team, the Maintenance Planner coordinates, plans, tracks and schedules work requests for maintenance personnel to meet the requirements of the facility. Performs other duties as required to promote overall plant effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Actively support Plant Safety efforts and initiatives. Promotes and demonstrates safe behaviors and actions in all job duties and areas of ownership.
+ Coordinate department functions/needs by adequately planning maintenance work requests, preparing proper documentation, assuring monthly inspections are performed and managing the overall PM program and system.
+ Lead Maintenance Reliability Organization “MRO” inventory management as needed. Contribute to maintain needed stocking levels and maintain the MRO inventory systems.
+ Manage CMMS system database and effectively manage and organize planned maintenance activity records and documentation.
+ Procure and expedite, when needed, required materials and products for plant activities.
+ Provide data collection and analysis to support the plant’s preventive and predictive maintenance program and reliability engineering activities.
+ Prepare PM checklists, update PM procedures, document PM procedures, calibration, and other documentation for key tasks.
+ Manage critical spare parts process and lead efforts where applicable.
+ Assist in maintaining key metrics (KPI’s) for all key maintenance activities.
+ Continuously evaluate standard planned maintenance work for time and material accuracy and adjust as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ High School Diploma or GED required. College degree desired.
+ 8+ years industrial maintenance experience, CMMS & computer proficiency required. Refrigeration, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, electrical JD Edwards systems, plastics process experience desired.
