Description
The Accounting Specialist shall coordinate and process the vendor billings within established guidelines and internal control procedures, and coordinate accounts payable functions with vendors and materials management. This position shall maintain complete understanding of accounts payable and and accounting functions.

Hours
64 hours biweekly with possibility to flex up to 80 hours biweekly, day shifts.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $22.59-27.83/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.
+ Education/Special Skills: High School graduate required. Must have considerable initiative and sound judgement. Must have computer experience. Must be able to work with other departments on various projects. Experience in accounts payable and knowledge of accounting is strongly preferred. Receives on-the-job training in hospital methods and accounting department procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
