Description
The Practice Manager-Clinics and Ambulatory Care is responsible for the efficient and effective operations of select clinic practices and locations to ensure the provision of safe care for patients and their families. The position works with Lake Region Medical Group (LRMG) and Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) providers to ensure appropriate staffing to both metrics and safe efficient care. It is key for this position to form effective partnerships with providers to enhance patient access and create efficient workflows for providers and staff. A key accountability of this position is consistent, communication flow to keep providers and staff informed and engaged in process improvements, changes and key information to do their jobs well. The position partners with patients and families to resolve service issues and is an expert at patient experience practices. The position will support strategies to increase volume and smart growth of the practices they are accountable for with attention to fiscal stewardship.
Essential Functions of the Job and Core Competencies:
+ Provides practice management for providers at the assigned clinic and outreach locations.
+ Evaluate each service line for strategic growth opportunities and make recruitment recommendations to the director and executive team.
+ Onboard and off board physician practices.
+ Operations, including project management, change management, and workflow development.
+ Finance, including building annual budget, expense management, and physician production.
+ Management of staff including conflict management, coaching, mentoring, leader development, and performance improvement.
+ Implement and maintain effective staffing model and ratio for each area based on each unique specialty
+ Employee Engagement data review and action planning for areas of improvement
+ Regular and intentional rounding on staff, providers and patients.
+ Oversight of safety, quality and risk management in the specialty department.
+ Patient Experience evaluation and creative planning
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $86,000-$112,000 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
+ 3-5 years of formal leadership roles in health care setting, management of physician/clinic practice preferred. Has good understanding of health care finance and business practices. Evidence of forming sound working relationships with providers, nursing staff and ancillary support staff.
+ Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
+ Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
