The role you'll contribute:

The GI Lab Tech is a non-licensed support person, and functions as a member of the patient care team. The GI Lab Tech is responsible for providing direct patient care and any assigned duties to ensure optimal patient care under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ The GI Lab Tech will provide direct assistance to the endoscopist with procedures

+ The GI Lab Tech will clean, maintain and document care of endoscopes

+ The GI Lab Tech will maintain cleaning supplies for the endoscopes

+ The GI Lab Tech will position the patient, secure monitors to the patient and transport the patient to and from the procedure room as needed

+ The GI Lab Tech will stock and maintain the supplies in the procedure rooms

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ High School Grad or Equivalent

+ Advanced Associates GI Tech (SGNA)

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
