The role you'll contribute:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist I is responsible for the processing and testing of all laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains accurate laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory

+ Technical skills and aptitudes related to the laboratory testing, procedures and processes performed in department or work area assigned

+ Follows and ensures adherence of staff, to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local,state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies; always protects confidentiality of patient information and results

+ Ability to work independently and adapt to varying priorities, including directing workflow with minimal supervision

+ Ability to maintain equipment/records and perform quality assessment activities

+ Ability to operate computer systems in order to maintain patient documentation, testing records, and other related documents

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ Associate Degree

+ Bachelor's degree medical technology or related sciences with appropriate state licensure if required or appropriate national certification

+ One year of Clinical Lab experience
