Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a **Food Services Manager** for **Newport Hospital** , a 106-bed facility and part of the **Brown University Health** system. You will be part of the leadership team overseeing a team of approximately 8 hospital employees serving patient meals and supporting cafeteria retail. The schedule for this role will be 10:30 am - 7:00 pm, including rotational weekend coverage every other weekend.

What You'll Do
+ manage all daily food operations through hourly and supervisory frontline associates
+ maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
+ ensure trainings remain up to date for all hourly associates, for both Sodexo and hospital related trainings
+ effectively mentor and develop the food services team
+ implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services
+ cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital

What You Bring
+ strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment;
+ experience leading and engaging a culinary and/or food services team
+ Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits
+ familiarity with Sodexo processes and systems (preferred, not required)
