    The role you'll contribute:

    Reports directly to the Nurse Practitioner-Regional Thoracic Program Manager and the Regional Director of Clinical Oncology. This position is responsible for the data entry, tracking, and follow up of the low dose CT (LDCT) lung cancer screening program as well as the incidental lung nodule program for the region. This position works closely with the Nurse Practitioner-Regional Thoracic Program Manager, referring physician offices, patients, scheduling department, and imaging. This position must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    + Establishes and maintains rapport, promotes collaborative communication among a group of diverse health care providers, and also maintains an effective working relationship with these individuals.

    + Functions as liaison with referring services

    + Acts as a resource to hospital personnel with regard to care and coordination of services for patients.

    + Coordinates scheduling with other modalities and departments as needed

    + Collaborates with Nurse Navigators to access, facilitate and coordinate a new patient visit for the newly diagnosed patient.
